Description

This image is my first serious attempt at creating an Anime Character. Based on the Namek race from the TV series DragonBall (Z/GT), he was a fun practice subject. Created in Lightwave 3D 7.5, using BESM as a Surface Shader.

Think you are on your way with the face but you will have to spend a lot of time learning Toriyama's take on muscular anatomy if you want to make DBZ models.Especially his excellent hands! Hang in there though! I know there is a Goku Tutorial about, though it is young Goku (http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Temple/2976/tu/tu_db.htm), this may be of some help. Think you are off to a great start though :)

Great start! The proportions look a bit off, but that's not to say that there's a standard set of formulas for anime characters and creatures. Keep on posting!

make his face a little less pointed and fierce and you may have it!
