Description

One of Quanah Parker's decendants lives in the "heart of Comancheria" (as he describes it) Near Big Spring, Texas is a landmark known as Signal Peak. From his description the rocks on top of this mound are a "volcanic plug" He describes many fire pits atop those stones, a silent witness to days gone by.. hmm.. I always wondered.. are smoke signals a sort of Morse Code? *ponders* Anyway.. as always.. thanks for looking. Hope your day is a good one !!

I agree with the two before me. It's hard to single any one thing out because everything works so wonderfully together. Just fabulous!

You have captured the ground textures perfectly for the arid desert of Texas. I like your western images a lot. Keep posting more of them. :o)
