Yeah, your right. It is a bit grainy. I usually add a bit of noise to all my images to try and get away from that super-clean CG look, but I've definately wen't overboard this time. I'm gonna re-render it and upload the new version. Thanks for pointing that out man :) Cheers:)

dont want to sound like im insulting you but did you use a terain plugin? I always do just to save time. or did you use a plane and apply a texture to elevate it?

nah man, never used a terrain plugin in my life. I just drew an elevation map in Photoshop 3.0 and used it as a displacement map on a dense grid :) Cheers

This is really nice. What about posting a challenge for the Bryce users? I was trying to assess something like this with the planet map, but didn't look too nice.

The graininess is good. Gives it kind of a foggy look, very cool for a seaside pic. IMO, at the top there are too many straight lines, I would have softened it a bit, but that's just me. Very good. The birds are a nice touch :)
