Ooooh, sweet looking native faeries. Such a good idea! And with the ship in the background to add some sense of impending action of one sort or another, as well the wonderfully colored rays of the starfish and its giant sea turtle companion to add some novelty to the meaning of "pets"...I find this pleases my sense of fantasy adventure. Being into visual realism to some extensive degree, personally I would feel a bit more sublimed into the imagery if the water's surface tension would be less distinctive. I understand that at a macroscopic level water beads up in a perfect sphere, even on leaves after a rain, but the faeries aren't quite that diminutive, are they? By comparison to the sea turtle they appear to be quite small, but compared to the starfish they appear to be much larger. So in a quick, I would feel more drawn into the fantasy if the sea shore were wet just beyond the waters edge (evidence of little surface tension from a normal perspective), darker sand or sand with rivulets of running water as the ebbing waves drink back into the sea. But all in all, a wonderful composition

Oh I so wish I could be there. So warm, so enchanting, so peaceful. And of course such lovely faeries! The little extras really make this a wonderful piece. The parrot is my favorite ;) but the turtle, ship, and seashells are pretty cool too. Great job on this one!

Excellent and delightful. I just got back from Hawaii. Didn't see any faeries, but spent much time on the beach and found shells and saw a number of sea turtles.
