This is really beautiful. I love the 'spilt light' background. The flesh colour has a nice oil paint quality, and the lighting on the head and shoulders is great. Are the robe & beard painted in 2D after rendering? Please tell us a bit more about your images, or do you like being enigmatic? And speaking of enigmas... what is that in the left hand?
