Carolyn, F451 is right. Your terrain surfaces are right on...this really looks like Arizona where I am from as well. This scene reminds me of a portion of Lake Pleasant. You have done an outstanding piece of work here! Vote!

@ Ancience: the second largest reservoir lake in the world is partly in Arizona: Lake Powell. @ Tootsie: this is a pretty reasonable representation of Arizona. The soil tends to be redder or yellower than the grey soil in the front of your picture; that's the only nit I'd pick.
