Description

"Rhiannon is the Celtic protectress of horses and other animals, especially those who serve mankind. The horse and dog are two of her sacred animals. As the "horse goddess," she also symbolizes the characteristics associated with horses, ie. vitality, independence, and intuitive understanding." Oooh, an Irish druid priestess in modern silky cashmere...love it. Those horsies are the cat's meow, all wonderfully posed and ready to lend such magical support to our lady priestess. The rocky ruins overburdened with moss, the long grass at the lady's hem - working so well with the gold design - are great supporting mechanisms. I must admit your frame is clever and well chosen for this piece, as well. Good job, Lydian! : ) Snapper
