Lame title, but what the heck. We are farther along the ramparts near a gateway which the street below runs through. The stone structure is a redan or bastion of the walls, but what neat buildings in this area. The tall, modern building is a bank, the tan-brick building is a hotel, next I think we have a theater/theatre, and I have no idea what the elegant building is. Busstops, outdoor cafes, and poster boards complete the scene --- along with those nice, wide sidewalks I admire so much. This is a city one can walk in.
