Description
I modelled the entire first floor, and the upstairs hall, of a house I might like to live in. My real house can be found in the piece of "art" hanging on the wall to the right. :-)
I imagined remodelling the average American "foursquare" house to create this kind of home.
This was modelled in AutoCAD, radiosity in Lightscape, and finally rendered in 3DS VIZ.
Thanks for viewing--expect a few more images of this house in the future.

This is an amazing piece of work. Wow. I'd love to live in this house... it's neater than my one!
I especially like the light coming in the windows, but i suspect it's a bit strong, maybe you wanna tone that down a tiny bit?

Like it but you might want to play with the level of transparency on the glass particularly the coloured glass, having lived in a house that had similar windows I can tell you that reds and greens always projected more vividly than blues and yellows, otherwise I think a pretty realistic effort, apart of course for the radiosity created dark triangles down the rhs of the rh picture :-))

This is really fantastic John... the stained glass, the paintings on the walls, and the wood textures all play a wonderful part in this scene. I think the lighting is perfect for the mood and the POV is excellent! Looking forward to more... we've missed you. BRAVO

I like very much the arhitecture and ambiance!

Amazing work all around and the POV is very fascinating, almost dizzying as it shows the height very well...
