Description

After many lonely years, Tom and Jane plan on getting married by next summer. One of Tom's dreams was to build a house on some land he purchased some years back. Now, finally, he has both the resources to build his dream house, and a good woman with whom to share it. Doubtless, Jane will have plenty to say about what shape the new dwelling is to take. This was rendered in Bryce and the figures were modeled in Poser 5. Tom's face texture was for a Mike 2 figure and was a freebie that I adapted to P5 man. But darned if I can find the name of the person who made the original texture. Jane's body was modeled after my wife's body. This was the first time that I have used the Infinity Cove backdrop freebie from RDNA. Thanks, Syyd! It is really a handy little prop! The weeds were from Transpond's Grasslands and Scrublands. Thanks, Judith and Chris! Judith is a Renderosity merchant, but you'll have to go to RuntimeDNA.com to purchase those excellent products. Judith also did the ground cover mat that I used in this picture. Jeremy

hmmnnnnn...without the title, you wouldn't know what's happening in this pic. With that wonderful view behind them, it'd feel a bit more natural for them to be looking at/discussing the view, maybe deciding where to place the picture window!!. Then place clues in the picture to the fact that they're going to build in that location - maybe some props like builder's tape measures, white marking sticks, architect's plans etc. on the ground beside them? maybe? just a few random thoughts, hope you don't mind.

If this is Jane's first visit to the building lot, the clues that pogmahone suggested would not be present ... after all, Tom (if he is wise) wants to include her in the planning.

Aye, I think the foreground is just fine, but considering you HAVE Bryce, you should challenge yourself to do the background mountains in Bryce as well. Good start, though!

This looks almost like a REAL photo of them, for real. Nice composing, even though the background mountains/landscape is kinda rough/jagged, it looks nice still. Smooth that out, and the image is PERFECT! Or is it already? Bryce can make cool and realistic mountain/landscape backgrounds as suggested above. Up 2 you to change anything or not. Nice job! Very natural and like a real camera shot of them.
