because they are there to document not to alter natures way of getting read of the weak. animals need to feed. for you to have a hamburger someone had to kill a cow. the poor litle sealion has the chance to swim away, a cow in a slother house does not have hope at all (please pardon my bad english)it is sad to see the little animals get killed by the snake or the tiger but they are part of the life cycle (circle of life)

...except when the wildlife program encourages it so they can get a nice shoot. You cant always get a perfect shot in natural situations. Sometimes it goes even further, Lemmings never jumped off cliffs, they were hearded off to make a wildlife documentary more interesting. Ever since people have believed it. Incidently, great pic ;D
