Nearing the end of the series (hears the sigh of relief) with, i think, only two more to go. This is a net that covers the pond in the winter from the attentions of the local heron population. I love the way that the snow found purchase enough to cling to the plastic netting. Not the best photo in the world, but I like how it shows the tenacity of 'cold'...and the next one will be better, i think.
Thanks for viewing.

I can imagine what you saw. Love the fading out here.

Actually, i think its great. I see at least 3 separate patterns in this one photo. the pattern of the mesh itself, the individual links and the crystals of the snow. I also like the way the focus moves outward.

I really like this. If you get the chance to do another I would like to see more of the links in focus....not all of it but maybe a half or a third...I'm not sure if it will be an improvement but it looks good in my head. :)

On my point of view, a very modern photo, and a great effect of the depth. A great shot my friend !!

Yes, it does communicate the theme of cold well in my opinion.

I'm surprised the the DOF is so shallow at f/11? Still a wonderful shot.... lovely series you've shared with us!

The snowflakes cling together 'cos they're cold but then they get too hot and melt away... :D This has a cool underwater effect to me. Really great :))
