BIO
I spent 5 years working for a leading Park Ave, advertising firm. From there I moved on and I am currently a Telecommunications and Networking professional working on projects around the world. I get to do 3D for my job but not nearly as much as I'd like. Lightwave, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver are but a few apps in which I am proficient.

I'm glad that I'm not on that boat! Nice modeling on the ship.

Great lighting and modeling! My only input would be that the rain looks too "flat". I suppose it could be that the only the drops closests to the light source would register, but it kinda lacks the depth of a full blown squall.

It's dark, and the only lighting was from the ligthning bolt. So the rain is not lit much so it would normally be barely visible. This is approximately what a camera would see under these conditions. Now if there were a light source near the camera that would light drops closer to the camera lense, then you would see greater depth to the rain. But I opted not to go that route. I wanted the scene to be as if it were lit briefly by the lightning.
