Okay, I used the Photoshop plug-in Fountain-of-Youth filter. There's less hair and more gray these days, art will do that to you. BIO"Art is the elegant display of the structure of things. . . . We can only speak of art in poetic terms, when language is art. . . . it is experiencea moment of communion. . . . How easy to strip it bare with a few careless words."

I was born in 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Prescott College in 1967, where I met Frederick Sommer who became teacher, colleague, friend, and with Francis, his wife, family.
Following stints in manufacturing, publishing, and international advertisingall the while writing, photographing, playing musicSommer gave me a house in Prescott, Arizona, where my wife and I have been since 1989.
I am project oriented; my websites www.wm-arts.com and www.oneoffpress.com, demonstrate my current state of affairs. From One-Off Press: "Miscellanea," 34 full color images of mine, and "Sometimes in Shadow" a suspense thriller with a fantasy twist.

The image looks like an 1800's engraving -- great. To answer your question, I have a minor suggestion ... the file size of this image is 286K -- but could have been as much as 500k. Check your JPEG quality setting (may have a diferent name in your image editor). BY trying different image dimensions (pixels) along with JPEG quality, you may be able to get a smaller image with good appearance.

This is outstanding work. It does look like an old engraving (perhaps you've incorporated some pieces of old engravings?) & is also reminiscent of the work of Satty, who did collages somewhat similar to this back in the 1960's. I agree with MGD that you should be able to reduce the size & retain a good level of detail by increasind the jpeg quality setting - the scrolling is annoying.

The buildings are out of perspective. If one draws a horizon based on the vanishing points, the water is higher that the horizon, and this isn't possible.

This is awesome!! I just wish the image was smaller so I could take its all measure!! Kind of hard to see it properly cos I have to scroll up and down, back and forward...Excellent work nonetheless!!

This is a masterpiece. You must join us in the TG group Walton. I am sure you would do outstanding work there as well. This is very excellent work.

This piece does resemble the photographs I have of old engravings. Is this a collection of various pieces from different works ? It is a pity the piece is so large as it is not possible to view the whole subject at the same time.. It is an interesting work though and very detailed.
