Description

Since my camera is gone I have decided to go through all of my old images that were never posted to see what I could drum up. Who knows, if my camera hadn't been stolen maybe I would never have put this panorama together.

I forgot to mention that the mountain on the left hand side looks more bald than the one on the right because that is near where ground zero of the big fire was last summer.

......don't jump! -- it's only a camera! ......oh..old image is it? ----- I had a Nikon F3 stolen -- loved that camera - but I recovered pretty quick -- got a cheap little Nikon EM --- got me by ------- very nice icy cold panorama --- it's great to go back and reassess old shots with new eyes. -- best of luck!

That's a relief. At first glance I thought you were going to end it all, from distress over your camera. Great panorama, keep 'em coming.

Yes, after I took this shot I threw myself in to the lake where I drowned. It was only after that that I put this panorama together, then typed the post that I am typing now...to brood is to partake in anxious and melancholic thoughts...and not necessarily to feel sorry for one's self.

I do so feel for you Matt.... I know how attached we become to them.... This image is wonderful.... the motion of water around the edges creates a rush, and the person seems to add to the mood here. I think this image probably reflects very well how you are feeling at the moment.
