I've no idea about the story either, but this character is fantastic - I especially like his jacket not quite fastening over his stomach.

Thanks folks.....it's a bit of blues folklore that some of the greats sold their soul to the devil down at the crossroads in exchange for their musical skills...

Another wonderful piece! I've always loved this story. I hate this guy so much, but I have to admit he is a very interesting character! Beautifully done!
