Description

"To leave the thread of all time
and let it make a dark line
in hopes that I can still find
the way back to the moment
I took the turn and turned to
begin a new beginning
still looking for the answer
I cannot find the finish
It's either this or that way
it's one way or the other
it should be one direction
it could be on reflection
the turn I have just taken
the turn that I was making
I might be just beginning
I might be near the end."

[Anywhere is, Enya]

Saw these concrete wave breakers on the wharf at Kalk Bay on Saturday... Walked along them and on them a bit, looking for patterns and maybe some abstract shots through the open spaces but they were too closely packed for that.
So I settled on playing on the fact that they were arrow shaped and seemed to be pointing in many directions.

Interesting (non-geometric) pattern. Such a relief to see that these (whatever you call them, I forget - megalith?) structures used to calm the waves so close inshore have escaped the ravages of graffitti artists. Nice composition
