Description
Just opened and dabbled in ZBrush, it's not much but I do try to use a program before I HAVE to read the instructions. Of course reading the instructions first would be too much like right! LOL Also had to use and old Thumnail as I do not have an art program I can use to make Thumbnails, so please forgive the date on it.
Thanks,
Verdie

Ha Ha --I love the thumbnail being a real thumbnail --the doodling is good --as for instructions --go to ZBrush central and learn as you go ---I only use 10% of my brain--and less % of my ZBrush :-D

Just so you know, hon, you don't need any posh program to make a thumb nail.
Just open your image in MSPaint, select the area you want as your thumbnail, copy it, open another paint window and paste it. Then just decrease the size of the paint-page so there's no white showing (Paint has tiny little 'size toggles' on the bottom right corner, mid-bottom side, and mid right side of the page. If you can find them with your mouse, you're home free!)
Then just save your image and upload as your thumbnail!

Thank you all for your comments and I will go to ZBrush as I downloaded the FREE version and will also try the MS Paint trick. :)

Hi Verdie, I use Xnview (Freeware) or Irfanview also (freeware) The 2 little apps will do stacks of things especially if you download all the plugins for Irfanview. Thought I sent you a message telling you about these 2 programs? Ciao Lina

cool stuff verdie, doodling is where we all start,:) ZB takes a while to get the workflow down, just like everything else, but it pays off in the end. go and download the pdf manual at zcentral and a few of the zscript tutorials etc, they help alot. that and practice, practice, practice! :) Cheers!
