Description

Authors: Sebastian Van Halm (Original Model) Olivier Couston (Dr.Jones) (Head Turrets) Photo Background: Jonathan Ley Model location: http://scifi3d.theforce.net/details.asp?intGenreID=10&intCatID=8&key=282 I have been having a blast with these models and manipulating them to my own volition. Anyways, if you are wondering what I did with all this, it was quite a bit but didn't want to steal anything. The Photo was majorly altered and the subject tree was removed, it just had the right angles and fade out needed to match the composition in my head. I also did some Terragen renders that were blended with the final to give it a snowy look and more atmosphere. The AT-ATs were Rendered with a snow base added to shadow their massive form and give their feet some sinkage. I like to think this is a planetary inspection mission for Imperial conquest of coarse. Stunning.... you've knocked my proverbial ass to the floor with this one sweetie... They look like they belong there, the lighting matches perfectly, and I'm reminded of the scene from Star Wars... spanks and licks right back atcha!

Nice job, you realy made them look intimidating, and the over-all bleakness of the environment is perfect.

I have to give you credit... taking a photo, tossing in a few ATAT's, and blending it the way you have is truly a challenging project. The way the snow blurs the ATAT's, the puff of dust off of the front ATAT's foot, really well done.
