Description
I know, this one would also be placed very well in the 2D section. But the image started from THIS ONE
and that's a 95% fractal image :-) Background for "Right Angles Game" designed in PSP. There is also a version without smudgy red rectangles available, good as a "modern art" wallpaper :-) You can download the clean version in 1024 x 768 size HERE

I prefer this one, Peter. The smudgy red rectangles are a +.

I agree with Miche. One would expect the red band to have straight lines just as do the squares, but the smudging is unexpected and teases the eyes. The smudged red band in the upper left corner works well because the color beneath it is black, while the other two red bands show part of a black straight line because the gray beneath it cannot hid that line. I would suggest going into PSP and use the eyedropper to change the black line at the bottom of the two lower squares to red so to make it convincing that the red band is "bleeding" onto the bands beneath it. You are truly the Frank Lloyd Wright of the Fractal Class. :-)

Very impressive work. I, too, like the red parts as the serve to add a lot of visual contrast to the stark lines of the rest. Great composition!

I would prefer the smudge look like thick colour flowing slowly down... Besides that a very nice creation.

Thanks Bob and Andreas for your suggestions! @Bob: you are right here, but the 3D effect gets lost when the dark lines will be erased @Andreas: I guess you like the bloody look now, doesn't you? ;-)
