This whole world is my adventure.
This universe mine only friend.
I must walk alone.
Seeking my own path through life's maze.
A solitary traveller in a seemingly chaotic cosmos.
But only because my light is oft too dim,
To see much beyond my footsteps.
All my life I have been waiting for someone,
Or for something to point the way,
For some kind of sign.
Yet I realize now I must find my own path
Through this tangled web,
And so must we all.
It took me all these years to realize,
That life itself is the sign,
And my love the signal, if I am free.
Not just free from the bonds of matter
And the sticky chains of another's ambition,
But free from myself.
Free from my constructed identity,
The illusory sense of mind within mind,
I endeavour to understand ALL,
With calm watching eyes.
Most of all, endeavouring to understand
That within me, which understands.
Reaching out from solitude, I seek
A happy life, harmonizing with the flow.
Endeavouring to make my life, and life
A happier place as I pass through, and beyond,
Beyond to mine own universe.
