Description


A render of one of my favourite LEGO (TM) Sets of the mid eighties: 7760 12V Electric Diesel Locomotive The parts are modelled by myself (No use of mlCAD, LeoCAD or other LEGO (TM) CAD Modelling Software). Every edge is bevelled and every single stud has its own LEGO (TM) logo on top. Modelled in 3dsmax 4.26 Rendered with finalRender Stage 1 No additional Post work was done. Thanks for viewing!

This is awesome. I've done a few Lego renders myself (my best is here) , and I know it's a lot more work than it seems to get it right. I could tell right away you'd beveled the edges, although I can't make out the tiny logos because the whole image seems a little blurred. Modeling the Lego people is the toughest part. I've seen a lot of people do them, and you're the first other person I've seen get the arms and hands right (they're a bitch to model). Great job!
