My head aches
From too many sleepless days
And wasted dreams
Children crying
In their beds
Afraid of monsters
In their heads
Thoughts of you
Is my reality
Yet I never know
What is real
Life is moving way
Too fast
Need to slow down
And take time to
See the poetry
And erase the
Pain of life
