Description

Here is another one out of the archives. I drove through Frank a couple of weeks ago and was outraged to see that some -idiot waste of life- chopped one of the branches off of this tree. (the lower branch pointing to the left) I guess I am in a dark mood after listening to the news the past couple of days. Man do people ever suck...

I hate it when people hurt trees too, but you never know, it might have been cankered, and the removal of that branch has saved what looks like an absolutely beautiful tree. Let's at least hope that's why.
Another beautiful image, though. You've captured so much atmosphere in one frame.

Actually the tree has been dead for over 20 years - some other poor fool killed it by trying to fertilize it. This tree lives in a harsh climate and the last thing it needed was fertilizer.

A gorgeous atmosphere. Vote. Nature is too less respected, flora and fauna. It's a shame!

A truely beautiful image, such a shame about the branch, must look a bit like Icarus trying to fly now.

I hope that you find some relief from your anger soon...I understand it very well. be careful though...because it can be destructive. your shot shows pathos against the beauty of that sky. Take care

Whoever did that did not take away that tree's pride - it still stands tall and will hopefully even grow new branches out of the wound.

This is very beautiful shot, and a sad feeling comes from the tree all alone in the hills. Very sensual.v
