Description

I saw some great lego pictures here the other day, and it got me wanting to try it out myself. Its not an entire model like some of the other guys have done, but then it took me over an hour to make just one brick!

nice work! I'm making a lego model for a university animation at the moment, takes some time doesn't it!

It does indeed, my hat goes off to those guys that make complex models out of it.

You might have to settle for a small lego room.

I collected legos since I was little, now the huge box of them belongs to my daughters who are adding their sets to the collection. :)

Yeah some times things that one thinks are easy, are proven to be quite difficult and laborious after one actually start working on it. Nice image by the way. I like the lighting effects.

You have to get it just right as this isnt like some sci fi thing, this is lego, and everyone knows what it looks like, get it even slightly wrong and everyone will spot the mistake.

Very nice work!! Perhaps an extra environment-reflection-map would even make it more vivid and plastic-like?

Thanks, possibly, although not sure how to apply two reflection properties to the same matieral without making it a blend.
