I see some issues where the tentacles (?) meet the head but otherwise this is National Geographic quality. Very good!

wow, that's a nice piece of cg... i don't know this kind of snails, but could it be, that you should improve the black part of the skin?

A simple image, well executed idea. I really like the overall feel. Agree with some of the other comments regarding the textures. The shell is great! Is there an outside semi-transparent object or is it all textures?
