I think some people take it for granted, having grown up with it. For someone like myself, I find myself looking around me for my next picture and have often wanted to kick myself for not being ready with a camera, to capture the moment as it presents itself. Good strong contrast and the liberal use of existing light. The block (handle?) on the window I find to be a bit of an annoyance. (Would have removed it myself) Otherwise a very interesting pix of everyday life. Maybe the inserts could have all been placed to one side.Well done.

I love the grain effect, the natural pose, the incredible light. Without the inserts, this shot is excellent.
