Description

Back in the early 90's, during my last year in highschool, I had an Amiga 500 with a whopping 8MB of Ram and the Disney Animation Studio. I taught myself animation and the principles behind it back then...even went so far as to plan out and start a pair of full length cartoons. All while drawing with a mouse. Thank the lords for bezier curves. Ah, the good ol' days. lol. Well, it's been long and long since then and last night (3 am) I felt like giving it the ol' highschool try. While it's a bit jumpy (you try drawing perfectly at 3am after only two hours sleep the night before) and lacking in the tweening area, these key frames are what I came up with. They were scanned and layered in phothsop and compiled into a gif animation in Image Ready. Feel free to point and laugh, it was just something to do while I was waiting to fall asleep.

Well, he was about to fire a blast from his hands but when I woke up today, I really didn't think enough of it to finish the anim. Like you said, it's not that great. :) lol. Just felt like sharing the moment.

Reminiscing for the good 'ol days? :o) Fine work, chief... Despite the many advances in technology to assist the digital artist there's still a lot to be said about real genuine skill, and you've got it by the truckload! :o)
