Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us. Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!

you know what's great about coming to someone's first images? Half the avatars are blank! That said, this is really a celebrative shot, fun as well, as these little apples all covered over in heavy fur—like the kind of fur collars you find on winter coats that embarrass everyone who wears them, only here they're natural. And the branches in the background are in just enough soft-focus to look like a reflection. March of 2004! Ya know what? I'm gonna fav this 'cause it was the beginning of your wonderful gallery, and because it'll be your first official fav! Tell the next in line I got here first—they got a problem? Tell 'm to gimme a call! (Move over, people, you're dealing with a professional here...) Just 5 years late—Wtf! (can I say wtf?) Congratulations on your first image! (Gee, I didn't know you photographed...)
