Description

Unaltered digital photo taken on my Camedia C-3030 Zoom out of my bathroom window one morning. It is GOOD to live in Florida!

Great shot. Your camera seems to compress the dark areas (houses) too much (maybe you can change the setting). Looks like a nice day ahead.

Yes it is wonderful to live in Florida! I haven't been able to enjoy a nice sunrise in some time now, the timing is off for me a bit right now. Thank you for this beauty!

Good morning to you too, lovely coloured sunset :) Don't say it is an unaltered digital photo, it has no meaning. You can "prework" colours very strongly on a digital with your lightbalance :)

Thanks for all the wonderful comments everyone! I'm lucky to have the view I do have and try (emphasize TRY) to get up early enough in the morning to see if that day offers a good photo. About the compression, I think that may be because of the JPEG compression. Also, the colors are spot-on the way it looked. It was just taken with the basic settings, no flash. I used the in-camera preview until I found a light/dark balance that was the most acurate. I have a less than pristine window glass that I have to shoot through, but for photos like these, it doesn't hurt too much. :)
