There is a resemblance, but it's closer to a C3PO style droid than the piece you made reference to.

I really like the wires and the overall design but somehow the v-shaped visor-thing isn't working for me. Just seems like it should be rounder. Loads of cool details though.

InTheCity, you are getting there! This is surely to be one that will go right to the Maxon galleries! Nice work! I am very impressed! I find the point of focus in this piece to be how it looks as though I am holding the piece and observing the qualities of surface and form in light! Nice!

Man, I wouldn't change a thing! The best part besides the excellent modeling you've done is that it is also different and probably more realistic to a "Real-Time" robot in today's society versus 2510AD or whatever.
