Description

An experiment with rendering a curved terrain at high altitude. I think this one is quite realistic, though I am not really satisfied with the curvature and the atmosphere. Thanx to Terradreams.de for the space tutorials. I'm very new to this scene and I would appreciate any kind of comments. Thanx for watching, Martin.

I'd like to help ,but I'm not that great at them either - this is a great scene, in fairness. However the one thing I would say is lose the froth: you'd never be able to see it from that height up

Curvature isn't good : change the pov and increase zooming. Very cool atmo !

Man! How can people get such a great render like this...and I cant seem to figure it out for the life of me!? sniff I followed the same tutorial aswee, and ended up with planet without an atmosphere at all... VERY nice pic though! Im kinda jealous :p
