A great shot! The musclature of this guy is amazing! Would agree the contrast is muddy... have you tried to adjust it in an image editing program?

there's a fair amount of light in the photo...the rocks on the bottom right are very bright....to increase the contrast might well result in losing detail in that area....I'm not sure what to suggest, but I must say, I rather like it like this...an image that shows 'power'
