There is so much truth in this well thought out render - even biblical direction like that found at Deuteronomy 30: 19 which says: "I do take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today, that I have put life (the smiling mask) and death (the frowning mask) before you, the blessing and the malediction; and you must choose life in order that you may keep alive, you and your offspring." So just as you say Barbara - "the choice is ours - it has always been ours". We can choose happiness or sadness, good or bad, kindness or evil and life or death - the choice is ours. This image overflows with symbolisms and packs a powerful punch - well done young lady. My vote!
