Description

Those teeth scared the bajeebees out of me when I was a kid. I had nightmares for weeks. Actually this was a scene I was working on that never got finished { like so many ) so I threw the teeth in for fun. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful. It's almost a photograph. The lighting, the texturing. Simply exquisite.

Fantastic still life, you have one texture backward, on the spine of the book. I love the teeth, ads that humorous twist! Excellent work!

I agree, it's like a photograph. The lamp is perfect for the scene. The texture on the pitcher and bowl is interesting. Excellent image!

This is good. Reminds me of all the times my grandmother and mother kept telling me that they remember once when I was a kid, I apparently took my grandmother's teeth to school for "Show and Tell". I don't remember it, but they said they spent the whole day looking around the house for her teeth. Until they got a call from the school. Oh man was my grandmother upset....

Good to see you've broken through your "modeler's block". Nicely done. You have special way with ceramic objects. Reminds me of visint Grandma. randy

This is an excellent piece of art, in my opinion. Nothing on this side is perfect anyway! You could flip the texture on the binding easily enough, if you wanted to achieve maximum "perfection". Very, VERY high quality work.

Thanks guys! Digimon, your right about the spine texture my friend. I'm getting old and my eyesight is going fast I guess. What's next, my teeth? Oh Lord!

Thanks for all the comments! Funny that the teeth were never really meant to be part of original scene. This scene probably would have been put in my unfinished project folder and forgotten about if I hadn't been thinking of my grandmother. Thanks again!

Wow! Very impressive piece of realism. Great job. I also think the teeth are great. They are so unexpected and seem to be laughing at us.
