Cool! I gotta learn compositing, I can clearly see that. Did you use HDRI for the render or just ordinary lights?

cartesius: I used HDR image based lighting. I found an HDRI environment map that looked quite the same as the background picture. I added also a few spot lights (some generating shadows, other specularity) and "invisible" luminous objects.

Really like the train Eric. Very nicely done! Maybe its my new no line bifocals, but I had a hard time making out the shape of the droid at first. Too much blue steel on a grey background? Good idea, very well executed. The guy sitting down even looks like he might be watching the droid. Which lights are yours? Did you use any shadow catchers? I really like the feel of that train texture. Thanks for sharing.

I rode that line the first day it opened. While the modeling job is excellent the place is a bit too clean (grin).

Really nice image! just one question, the "gostman", behind the droid. Is he there because of you, or on the real photo to??

Cybrhawg: All the lights illuminating the 3D objects are mine, the background image was not modified. I used shadow catching geometries for the floor and the right side wall. Betong: the "ghostman" was in the original photo.

This is really neat, Eric. I would love to see a wireframe of this (hint, hint) in the forum. I'm especially interested in seeing the person that is either reflected in the train's window or inside the train.
