Description

Ah, those evening walks along the Embarcadero. There always something romantic about quiet walk on a warm evening.

The boat looks fantastic, but those lamps really detract from it. Sorry. Change the lamps and this picture would be excellent.

Also, the people would actually be half the size they are, to fit more the scale of the ship. It would actually tower over them as tall as a 3 story building, which in a way it was. The dock would actually be down more level with the lowest gun deck ports. But actually, realistically, a ship of this size, because it drew a draft, from the waterline to the keel of almost 25 ft, would have been anchored out in the harbor. Very few ports had a deep enough harbor to accomidate a vessel this size up next to the dock.

You guys are too hard to fool. I reduced the people until they looked like the right size and they were just to small to see, so I enlarged them again. Ok, no fooling you guys on that one. As for the dock, yeah, usually low to the water. I made this one higher than normal and obviously out to sea because of the deep draft of the ship. Will consider the lights, yeah, maybe too busy. But NOBODY saw that there are no verticle supports to the dock! Ha! Gotcha!
