Description
I took this photo in the ancient city of Pompeii some years ago. It's so hard to believe that this was once buried by lava and ash for so many centuries. I always try to imagine what it would have been like to live there some 2,000 years ago........

What a marvellous place. I once saw a book on the human casts they found there - eeerie stuff. Your photo does interesting things with colours and I like this.
