the camera view is supposed to be set looking out of a window in a house

VERY interesting - I like the background and the character very much. The "window" is a bit too abstract for my taste. It's "interesting" and "pretty," - but IMO detracts from the scene. If you hadn't said it was a window, I'd have never guessed. None-the-less, overall, I was drawn to the image. Perhaps you could mention what steps you did in post-production?
