I'm called BaldManTom, guess why... :)BIOI'm a complete art novice, though I enjoy viewing what other people have created. I've been tooling around with Poser for a while, and have finally decided to post some of the stuff I've created, hoping that I'll get some constructive criticism. I figured that if I never let anyone see what I'm doing, then I'll never learn what I need in order to improve. The tools I'm using are pretty limited at this point, Poser, Anim8or for the little bit of modelling I actually do (and something I really want to learn about), and Gimp for the little bit of texturing and post-work (two more things I need to learn about).

It's good to have a catharsis, at least... helps one wait out such things. My sympathies. Anyhow... you may wish to raise the right hand a bit higher - the outreach doesn't look as desperate as I think you're trying to express here.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think you're right about the angle of the hand. I tend to create things sequentially and not go back. In this case, I set the pose I wanted and then moved on from there. In the meantime, I changed the camera angle, which (I think) messed up how the raised hand looked. What I'll take forward is to revisit each element when I make changes. Again, thanks!

This has been a lousy winter... as winters go! I usually plan a trip to some sunny place... but this year it didn't happen... so for me, that little window up above showed only a gray and dismal sky! You've expressed this all so well! I think what we all need is one of those full spectrum bulbs to get us through! :-)
