Disturbing yes. A 10 for having balls to post it? I don't think so.

This is indeed very disturbing..but at the same time it brands into your conscience to be more careful and what can happen to your children when firearms are not properly locked away. Be safe.

If your background in any way made a positive statement about guns and children, I could give you kudos for this. As it stands, it's just a rather frightening cry for attention on your part. Seek help. I mean it.

As a member of the NRA and a father, I'm very offended! But if it helps remind gun owners to LOCK IT UP! then thanks for the pic.

As Rainbowmage said, heh, I don't think it was intended to be an image for gun safety...

this is a classic example of getting out of an image what you put into it. the artist posted with no comments, allowing everyone's speculation to run wild. if you choose to view this as a statement for gun control, that's what you see. if you choose to view it as an artist's "rather frightening cry for attention", you get that perception. this image goes either way. think about the assumptions you make before you post, and call the artist a sick pervert.

I have to give you kudos for one thing: you made us all think. Your picture is horrifying in content, and I think you posted it for shock value only. The thing that disturbs me the most is that you actually spent time posing the infant and the gun, and apparently suffered no qualms from it, because you rendered it and posted it here. Rainbowmage is right: you need to talk to a professional, and the sooner the better. And think on this one last comment: how would your picture affect those among us who have lost children or other loved ones to gun accidents? Not a pleasant thought.

Well, well, Ive hit a nerve. Good. Rainbowmage, how can ANY background make a positive statement about guns and children? Did you want to see the baby's parents running towards it, screaming 'Nooooo!'? Do you want me to tell you: 'Hey, man, the safety's on' or 'Relax, it's not loaded'? What? Good thing I didn't make the gun go off and blow it's little brains out then, huh? I thought about different things, but not saying anything says more apparently. (I wasn't even going to say what I'm saying right now...) Yes, it's a cry for help, you're right about that, but it's not me who needs help. Its real, isnt it? Its the sad truth. Saying I need help is like saying that this stuff doesnt happen, that it only happens in the mind of some sicko. Stick to the fantasy pictures on this site and change your name to Nae or something. Only (small) regret is that Ive allowed viewers to rate it with points too. Glad some are bitten in the ass by it, I hope it stings.

Disgraced??? For posing something that sadly happens in the every day world? I don't think so! To Rainbowmage,: there is NEVER ANY positive side to children and guns, it doesnt matter how you twist it, children and guns should never be within miles of each other period! To SergeantJack: Is this picture any different than war scenes? Cool guns? Fighting scenes? Anything violent posted here? To be offended by something someone else created is YOUR choice! But don't tell someone they need professional help for something so realistic! I'd send EACH AND EVERY parents who has guns in the hoouse with little children to seek therapy!!

It's great to see a renderosity image actually sparking some debate! It sure makes a change from the brain-numbing parade of 'pin-up girl' style images with comments like "10 - She's gorgeous", "9 - I know what she's thinking ;)" & "Your best yet." Dimitri's idea of a 'pin-up girl' is pinned to the ceiling in a mouse trap, his sun-bathing beauty is burnt to a crisp in her deck-chair. Anyone who bags Dimitri 4 what he does may as well send their resume to Disney 2day - you're all going 2 burn!!!
