-would never end up like this. Gotta keep moving in the rain forest, or you end up mossed up. The moss on this rock is four inches thick in places, and supports ferns and other small plants. Pretty lush stuff.

Now I understand why Moss is growing on My....err....things. I have not been moving them about enough ...sigh...but, I shan't go into My Fungicide problem.....lovely Image Jim....is there Medication that removes it?

oh I've had more then a few header's off rocks like that,lol!! SLIPPERY WHEN WET!! or hit a big ol slug,you got any pictures of the slugs,or the perttiest one the bannan slug? cool subjects,they look great, ever hit one ridding a bike,it HURTS!!LMAO!! oh great now I got slim on the brain, it's your fault Jim,LOL just kidding I'm kinda back,I Missed alot,but missed you mostly,& your pic, of Island wild life, I got to get back to the Island :0) HUGS!!

That's one heck of a boulder Jim! Is it a glacial deposit or something? With four inches of moss on it then it's been there a few thousand years...wonder what's undernesth? :)

Thanks. A great photo. I remember moss hanging like curtains from tree branches out in the NW.
