What was the render time on this peice? Unless I'm mistaken you used volumetric world and reflections, let me be the first to say GWAHHH? However long it took it was well worth it. Very liquid, but of course very metallic. Complex but not infinite. Great job.

Thanks for the nice feedback... It's actually very simple. The complex looking object was produced with an application named Knotplot. It's difficult to judge the render time, because I didn't do it all at once. Just guessing, if I had let it chug through uninterrupted, maybe 24-30 hours? (It's an old slow computer.) Also, it's NOT a volumetric world, but you're right that everything you see is reflection (not refraction, which would be terribly slow).
