Description
Several years ago I did a how-to article for FineScale Modeler magazine on how to build and detail this Honda Grand Prix car. It's a Tamiya 1/20th scale kit, and it builds into a beautiful replica of the race car.
So I thought, I'll just scan the kit pieces and use them as 'templates' to build a 3D model of the car. Here are the early test renders of the car. She still needs a little work, but I'm happy with it so far.

The modeling looks better than the model. :o)

Mannnn, now you tell me!:) I guess I'll finish this one and pick a diffrent model. I'am going to grab a few pieces off that other model to save me time. But, mine is already much more detailed.
