I don't even want to imagine how long it took to make all that stuff and lay it out...lol Really nice piece...defitly captures the state of most people these days. Maybe we all could use a garage sale..I know I could use one internally and externally :o)

Well, at the risk of sounding a sour note in this avalanche of accolades, I love the claustrophobic heaps of "stuff", I totally agree with the message & applaud the way you've managed to convey it spatially, but... (& maybe this is nitpicking on my part) I find the figure to be very plastic, mannequin-like & unconvincing. If that was intentional (maybe to symbolize that mindless acquisition of possessions turns us into plastic people?), then that's certainly a valid choice on your part. But I think a more human & believable figure anguishing amid the weight of his possessions would be more powerful.

This is a great one. What do we really need? I think the most of people just want to have things, but they forget that little things more counts then things you can buy. I mean this...look around you, enjoy a flower what coming out the ground, smell the nature, and give a helping hand to people that have nothing....so these are my words and thoughts......I vote for this image because it is very powerful please visit my poetry website My tree of life

Wow Rick!! What an excellent concept! Reminds me of the song "Mountain of Things" by Tracy Chapman. Excellent work!!"He who dies with the most toys wins"

Things, things, things...somewhere in life you understand that they own you instead of the opposite! Wonderful way of illustrating this truth!!
