Description
I just got photoshop and this is the first image I'm working on. I've had the idea in my head for a while, but when I look at this it doesn't feel right. I like the profile and the top left corner of the image, as well as the text, but I feel as though the bubbly shapes don't work quite as well. I'm also concerned about how the colors work out. Any suggestions or thoughts?

I wouldn't change a thing. It portrays the feeling of rage perfectly. Great job!

Not meaning to pun, this just screams rage. It's a very strong design, perfect colors and balance. I wouldn't change anything either.

OK...from a design point of view...avoid using system fonts (Sand, I believe)..try something that isn't available on all computers...it makes it look like you've put more effort into selecting the typeface. Avoid overuse of Photoshop filters (although cutout is one of my favourites!). The background shapes appear a bit too random to me.... perhaps the shapes should echo the movement of the text...emanating from the mouth and moving outwards. And that photo looks familiar...

Great idea and execution! A very strong composition! Maybe Rockatansky is right about the background shapes. What about just changing the colours of those shapes behind the text and let the shapes as they are? Just my two cents ;o) Anyway a fantastic piece!
