Letter from a friend by Drea71

As I watched you fall asleep last night, I wanted so much to touch you. I spilled moonlight onto your face - trickling down your cheeks as so many tears have. You didn't even think of Me; I wanted so much to comfort you.
The next day I exploded a brilliant sunrise into glorious morning for you. But you woke up late and rushed off to work - you didn't even notice. My sky became cloudy and My tears were the rain.
I love you. Oh, if you'd only listen. I really love you. I try to say it in the quiet of the green meadow and in the blue sky. The wind whisperes My love throughout the treetops and spills it into vibrant colours of all the flowers. I shout it to you in the thunder of the great waterfalls and compose love songs for birds to sing to you. I warm you with the clothing of My sunshine and perfume the air with nature's sweet scent. My love for you is deeper than any ocean and greater than any need in your heart. If you'd only realize how I care.
Ma Dad sends His love. I want you to meet Him - He cares, too. Fathers are just that way. So, please call on Me soon. No matter how long it takes. I'll wait - because I love you.
Your friend, Jesus
Even though it's been ages since I bought this "letter" in a card-shop in Canada, it still touches my heart everytime I read it.

Serious
Yes, very touching. A bit naive but excellent. Only, as much as I know cristianity, it's the Father who's responsible for sunset and the nature forses as whole, not the Son... anyway, I really loved to read this words. Some greate loving heart made them written :-)

Very lovely collage of images, it compliments the poem perfectly :o) John1:1-10 "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was born in the World and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own and his own received him not." I really do not agree with "Serious" We cannot separate Father Son and Holy Ghost nor can we understand how they function but what we can understand is that they are one...understand?..I guess if we could understand we would be GOD :O)The Poem is certainly not naive, but filled with truth.
