...and they said it couldn't be done...
Image rendered completely in Vue 4.2 with no postwork. I've been tweaking and refining a celshade technique for Vue and this is a result of following the steps. The tutorial should be finished this weekend and I'll post it here and over at celshadeartists.com. Happy shading:)

well if you want my opinion, I dunno anything abotu ther technical challenge it meant abotu vue (i don't know vue) so i am glad if you manage to do what you aimed for, but so far, i rather like your previous animedoll pictures and animations (and TRHIs i would like a tutorial on, in fact :)

from my experience with the material edior, i bet you use some hard contrast in your technique. When I saw the thumbnail I almost instantly though of Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker. Lots of possibilites with your technique I'm anxious to see what you can do with it.

Obviously your test is OK! It would be fine to script it in Python... can be very useful. Most interesting!

It is looking very good. Can you get the outlines and black lines to show up in this technique as well or is it "wenke"-style all the way?
