Nice. It has a Pirates of Carrabean feel to it. It could use a bit moredetails in textures i.e. the clothes but overall pretty good.

Nice idea. As for constructive critism I might suggest a more interesting sand material for the ocean floor, maybe with some small rocks or something sitting in it. Also the seedweed on your skeleton blends into the bones and makes it quite difficult to distinguish the two. You may want to remodel your seaweed or change the lighting so the seaweed is more identifiable. As for the sword carried by the skeleton it dosen't look like it has been sitting at the bottom of the deep for as long as the guy who is holding it ;) maybe add some rust/moss to it so it blends with the scene better. Also your forground plants are crying out for better materials and you may also wish to resize some of them as they look slightly uniform. Also depending on the effect you are going for you may want to consider sunrays shining down through the water. This is absolutely a great concept, I really hope you decided to take this image further as I look forward to upcoming revisions ;)
