The reflective sphere was created with XenoDream.
The alien landscape was made with Terragen, and
both morphed to the surface of the sphere and used as the background, also in XD

Well, I don't know how you did this, but I'm impressed! I also like the beautiful simplicity of this image, the terrain and surface, and the dreamy mood. I don't know why no one else commented. Maybe they don't recognize something wonderful when they see it.
